The success of the only charitable pharmacy in the Diocese of Covington is attributed to the dedication of the volunteers and staff, the generosity of private donors, area businesses and foundations, the support from the local medical community, social services and pharmaceutical companies.

Since opening in March 2002, the St. Vincent de Paul Community Pharmacy has provided free prescription medication to those without prescription insurance or the financial means to cover their expensive prescriptions.  This is done in a manner of respect allowing each client without regard to race, creed, or national origin to receive the assistance needed and also maintain their dignity.

In June, 2006 the pharmacy was honored to receive the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce business “Success” award. This award recognizes small businesses that have demonstrated growth, financial stability, resourcefulness and creativity to excel in their chosen industry.
